Through the streets of Gettysburg

With less than 4 days until kickoff now, the organising group are well on the way with the final preparations.  QR sheets have been printed and laminated, firing arc templates are being finished off and T- shirts are almost ready to be picked up. All we need now are the players to turn up on Saturday morning.

Here are a few more shots of the town of Gettysburg. All the buildings, fences and trees are just placed on top of a ground board. This way things can be moved or removed to allow for the placement of troops during the game.

I would like to thank Captain Richard from http://captainrichardsminiaturecivilwar.blogspot.com/
for the wonderful buildings he makes for his layout. The Eagle Hotel wall was inspired by the Captain's work from this post here.
                  and Pat from http://wargamingwithsilverwhistle.blogspot.com/
for the fantastic post on his Old West town here. This post by Pat came along at just the right time as  I was about to start on the making of Gettysburg.
If you have not visited these sites before.... get over and have a look, you will not be disappointed!!

See you all on Saturday guys!
